St. Cecilia's Catholic Church

Our parish has a very active Parish Religious Education Program. From pre-k to adult classes, all ages are covered. Our teachers are dedicated and committed to providing the best religious education in our diocese. Five years ago the parish embarked on a capital campaign to build a new parish center that could house all of our classes in the same facility. Our classes normally take place every on Sunday's (check the bulletin for details, schedule to change) from 9:30am to 10:45am from September until May.

First Communion - Important Dates

October 1 - Parents attend class w/ Children 9:30am
November 5 - Parents making rosaries w/ children 9:30am
December 3 - First Reconciliation - 9:30am
January 7 - Children perform Epiphany Pageant 11am mass, meal after
April 28 - Retreat in parish center (child and parent) 8:30a-12pm
Early May - Interviews with Father Decker or Amy Mann
May 10 - First Holy Communion practice - 6:30pm
May 12 - The Sacrament of First Holy Communion 11am mass, reception follows

Confirmation I & II

1st year - Conf I - 9th Grade
Sept 24 - Parent meeting with candidate in classroom 9:30am
Oct 22 - Commitment Mass 11am
May 6 - Sponsor Mass 8:30am & Workshop with Sponsor in classroom 9:30am
 

2nd Year - Conf II - 10th Grade
October 15 - Recommitment Mass - 8:30am
                  Confirmation Retreat TBA
                  Interviews with Father Decker or Amy Mann TBA
